One thing: I don’t care if you like Lebron or hate Lebron or if you have no real feelings toward him good or bad. No one ever said he was a bad basketball player. People said he was a douchebag. Whether you think that or not, whatever. But please, if he was a douche for the way he left Cleveland and whatnot, that doesn’t suddenly become not true because now he has a ring. It’s like “oh you can stop hating now he has a ring.” Well, yeah, if people were hating because he didn’t have a ring. But the ring doesn’t automatically make him a better person. Like, a person can be a complete asshole and yet still be very good at whatever it is he/she does and the latter doesn’t negate the former.
Once again, I’m NOT saying that I hate Lebron. I’m not a huge fan of him but I’m not like the president of his hate club. I think the way he left the Cavs was messed up and winning tonight doesn’t change that.
