Spain exceeded all expectations by scoring more than one goal against a half-decent team.
Colour me surprised.
ayiman, i am going to fight you
My issue with Spain isn’t that they are boring (I could care less the style of teams if they’re playing the style that suits them best, honestly, whether that’s bunkering or possession or whatever)...

One thing: I don’t care if you like Lebron or hate Lebron or if you have no real feelings toward him good or bad. No one ever said he was a bad basketball player. People said he was a douchebag. Whether you think that or not, whatever. But please, if he was a douche for the way he left Cleveland and whatnot, that doesn’t suddenly become not true because now he has a ring. It’s...

I totally feel like the “Good Job Good Effort” kid right now.
That’s literally me. Except a lot more sad.
Good season, OKC. Hey, look at this: Year 1, no playoffs. Year 2, lost to Lakers in first round. Year 3, lost to Mavs in WCF. Year 4, lost in Finals.
Only one more milestone left. We’ll be back.
That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.

i find it hilarious that people accuse OKC fans of being “bandwagoners” when we’ve sold out every game in our arena, even when we started our first season 3-29. just because YOU started paying attention to the fact that we have a lot of fans doesn’t mean we didn’t have a lot of fans from the freaking beginning.

Someone just sarcastically mentioned that I unfollowed him to me on Twitter and I had unfollowed him AGES ago. And I unfollowed him because he unfollowed me first. Like, you weren’t interesting enough for unrequited tweet friendship, k? Sorry, but I need a little give-and-take on my internet.

I’m sorry, but WHAT??!?! Even if someone with a mental illness chooses not to have biological children for fear of passing it on, there is absolutely NO reason to judge someone if they do decide to have kids. Or even if they choose to raise children (biological, adopted, or foster) while managing their disorder(s). This headline alone sickens me. People with mental illnesses...

Baines won’t get a game with Cashley there & Jags probably won’t play either. I’d like them to succeed, but just not under Stevieee larrrr. There’s always 2014, when Gerrard will be gone, hopefully.
Baines will likely spend the entire time on the bench. But Jags I’m not so sure about as with...

I think it must appear like that from the outside, but really we just love a moan about anything really. If we won I think (almost) everyone would be pleased. And those who aren’t intersted in football probably just wouldn’t take much notice.
Please note that I consider England a...

Well you’d be rooting for Steven Gerrard going down in history as an English footballing legend never to be forgotten, as the man who lifted the trophy, rather than just that bloke who used to be good for Liverpool is all.
Good point. But I want Baines and Jags to succeed more than I want Gerrard to fail...

Why would we hate to win?
Oh, I’m sure England fans, who are mostly English, would love it. But the entire English psyche—the press, the critics, the cynical club fans who support England as a secondary venture and hate how Hodgson screwed over THEIR players—would generally be...

What's Up With "Envy" and "Jealousy"?
andhins-nation:
theyuniversity:
This is an interesting one. I had no idea they weren’t interchangeable.
They are interchangeable. They mean the same thing.
When someone is “jealous” because of their SO paying attention to other people, what they are jealous (or envious) of is their attention. Or time. Or whatever.
Look here. The definition of envy is jealousy and vice...
